Natural Iron Knighthood Fireback

The Natural Iron Knighthood Fireback features a design of a knight's helm surrounded with scrolled flourishes over a crest showing a shield flanked by two lions rampant. This striking fireback is an excellent choice for larger fireplaces. It will protect the rear masonry of your fireplace from the intense heat of the fire and it will reflect a portion of the heat normally lost back into your room. Your fireback should be large enough to protect the area of the rear wall directly behind the fire, but should not extend into the flue opening where it could choke off the draft or interfere with the damper. An area of 4 to 15-inches can be left on either side of the fireback. We also offer fireback supports to hold your fireback in place.
