Natural Iron Camarque Fireback

The Natural Iron Camarque Fireback shows beautiful and graceful horses running across a plain with clouds scattered overhead. The top of the fireback has an arch for added interest. This Fireback adds beauty to your fireplace and protects the rear masonry of the fireplace from the intense heat of the fire. A fireback reflects a portion of the heat normally lost back into your room. Your fireback should be large enough to protect the area of the rear wall directly behind the fire, but should not extend into the flue opening where it could choke off the draft or interfere with the damper. An area of 4 to 15-inches can be left on either side of the fireback. We also offer fireback supports to hold your fireback in place.
