Natural Iron Regency Fireback

The Natural Iron Regency Fireback gives your fireplace and hearth a sense of royal presence. The gracefully arched design features the leaves and swirling plumes often used in royal heraldry. A fireback will increase the efficiency of your fireplace by reflecting some of the heat that is normally lost back into your room, and it will protect the rear masonry of your fireplace from the intense heat of the fire. Your fireback should be large enough to protect the area of the rear wall directly behind the fire, but should not extend into the flue opening where it could choke off the draft or interfere with the damper. An area of 4 to 15-inches can be left on either side of the fireback. We also offer fireback supports to hold your fireback in place.
