27" Center Support Log Grate

The 27" Center Support Log Grate is formed from solid steel bar for strength and durability. Two cross bars form legs that provide a 3-inch clearance from the fireplace floor to allow air to flow under and around the wood for an evenly burning fire. An extra set of legs in the center of the grate provide extra stability. The eight bars of the grate are curved on both ends to prevent logs from rolling off. The log grate is 27 inches wide at the front, 25-inches wide at the back and 14 inches deep to fit in medium to large fireplaces and has a black powder coat finish.

Inspired by the European ironwork of the past, the 27" Center Support Log Grate is handcrafted in the traditional hammer and anvil method using only the highest quality materials. It has been individually hand forged and hand welded to exacting specifications and is constructed with an innovative 'snap-on' method of construction which eliminates the use of screws and hardware.
